Jaguar XJS HE V12 1987
- Vehicle Overview
absolutely beautiful Car! What a colour... From July 1980, the XJ-S became the XJS-HE and was fitted with the new High-Efficiency engine for much better economy which included the Fire Ball combustion chamber designed by Swiss Engineer Michael May. As a by-product the power was increased to 295 hp. At the same time, the XJS-HE received changes to its exterior and interior, body coloured boot plinth in place of the standard previous black one, new five-spoke (Starfish) alloy wheels, chrome inserts on the upper part of the bumpers, Burled Elm wood inserts on the dashboard and door cappings. In 1982, the new V12 XJS-HE was placed first and second at the RAC Tourist Trophy race at Silverstone. This vehicle comes with a Service Book which has 5 Main Dealer Stamps in it. The last service was at 65,369 miles, on 13/12/93, and was performed by Jaguar Mead of Burnham Slough. The car currently shows a mileage of 81500 - therefore only covering around 16000 miles in the last 22 years! The previous owner has only used the car in summer and it has been dry stored in winter. All MoT certificates are present to warrant the mileage and there is a file of maintenance bills, together with all the tax discs for the car. We have spent considerable time & effort bringing this Car up to the condition it looks today! A beautiful drive... We highly recommend a viewing - please call for an appointment!
